Situated about 1 hours drive from Cape Town. The spot i fish most is closest to the wreck or the wreck itself. Close to the yacht club. Species most often caught here is white stumpnose and streepie. Baits most succesful here would be sand prawn, white mussel, all worm species and red/sand red bait.
Tackle:
For best results the lighter the better, not only for fun but also bait presentation. Because the water is most often clear a flourocarbon hook snoot is advised for better results. The average size for stumpnose here is in the one kilo mark so a hook snoot with a breaking strain of no more than 5 kilo's is sufficient added that also there are not a lot of obstacles in place to snag the hook snoot and cut you off.
